I have read a few Nora Valters books now and none of them have let me down. The Wife After Me sounded so up my street!
A psychological thriller that introduces us to Steph and Ben. A couple who are divorced but live in the same house with one floor each. They have the best amicable divorce ever. Then Ben met Yasmin, a woman who changes him from the man Steph knows well. In his place is a man who Steph finds rude and dismissive. She knows that something isn’t right, but what is it?
I was gripped with this book! Nora Valters is a skilful storyteller and, yet again she got me with this one. I was convinced I had it right, until I wasn’t! It is a tense and atmospheric read. One which I couldn’t put down for a second.
The pages went so fast because I had to prove myself right…well, I didn’t!! Nora Valters got me bang to rights! The twists did it! I wasn’t expecting them! So well placed and a book that got me on thr edge of my seat so easily!
Author Bio
Nora Valters grew up in the New Forest in the south of England and has lived in London, Manchester, Bournemouth, Oxford and Dubai. She currently resides in Weston-super-Mare.
She studied English Literature and Language at Oxford Brookes University before embarking on a career in marketing and copywriting.
Her debut psychological thriller Her Biggest Fan was published in October 2020. Her latest novel is His First Girlfriend and she’s currently writing her seventh novel, which will be out soon.
Nora loves to travel and has journeyed around the world. She enjoys exploring new places, knitting/crochet, painting, hiking, and is an avid reader. She’s also a bit obsessed with dogs!
