Helena Dixon is an author I have at the top of my list! I don’t read the blurb from her books, I just read them! She never lets me down.
This is The Secret Detective Agency Book 4, The Afternoon Tea Murders. I have read the others in the series but you can read them as standalones too. A cosy mystery set in London of 1942. It’s great to return to Jane and Arthur yet again! They are characters that are developing so well! I love these two, along with Benson as well. I have to say that Helena Dixon knows how to create amazing characters. I am so invested in these!
Another book that I was sucked right into! Armchair travelling is something I appreciate so much! The setting is so well described I could almost be there. The mystery Jane and Arthur find themselves dealing with brings twists, intrigue and as always humour!
This is a series to escape into. Each book is a delightful, well written and captivating read. Helena Dixon is a masterful storyteller and I will be waiting for her next release with impatience!!
