Joseph Mitcham – Tariq

Today, I’m part of the mini-blog tour for the 4th book in The Atrocities Series, Tariq. Thanks to Joseph Mitcham for my invitation and the copy of the book to participate today.

The attack on the Port of Sunderland was thwarted, but what was Tariq’s involvement? He finds himself torn between two worlds and two masters, enduring as a Security Service human intelligence asset, and now as an attack planner for the emerging MYLA terror organisation.

To build his credibility within MYLA, he must plot a series of truly horrific atrocities, but will he be seduced by the power and newfound respect afforded to him?

For Security Service Agent Matt Tailor, Tariq is the only solution to the MYLA problem, but some on the unofficial side of the team aren’t so sure. Mistrust and a lack of cooperation leads to mistakes and missed opportunities. Tariq is the key; will he bring them together or tear them apart?

Can he do it? Will he do it?

My Review

Joseph Mitcham is back, with the fourth book in The Atrocities series. I loved every single one and was pretty excited when I realised this instalment landed on my Kindle.

Tariq is yet another original and intriguing story. Joseph Mitcham never lets me down, his characters always make me feel they could be real. The pace and the way everything intertwines made me want to know what would be next!

I read it so fast that I was closing the book before I knew it. I can’t help reading this series so quickly, but I always wish there was more after I have done. I loved the twist! Talk about blindsided! I will say nothing more apart from if you want to know, read the book.

This is a great addition to this series. It is well worth picking up, that’s for sure. Another highly recommended read.

Author Bio

Joseph Mitcham served with the British military, in elite and technical units, for over 16 years. His service not only gave him a thorough tactical and technical understanding of some of the techniques and processes employed in his stories, but it also provided him with the opportunity to develop himself, earning a first-class honours degree in business leadership.

The inspiration for embarking on his Atrocities series’ came from personal experiences from the roles that he has served in, and characteristics from some of the people that he has served with.

Joseph writes incredible, yet compellingly credible stories that play out in our world as he sees it today.
