The second book in The Star Crossed Gods series and I was dying to read this! Especially after the ending of book one. I will say now, read these in order!
As soon as I started reading, I was out of the real world and back with the characters. Sorrow, Matthias, and Pablo are all excellently created, and I was so content to feel like I was part of them all. Sarah Gallego’s world-building is second to none, and I was so immersed in this book!
I adored how great the storytelling was, the amount of drama and tension had me wanting to know everything like yesterday! The deception, twists and secrets just kept on coming. If you need magic too, don’t worry, the author has definitely not forgotten that either. It is one of those books that I wanted to savour but knew I had no chance!
The conclusion came around too quickly for me, I didn’t want to leave everyone! I feel like I left a piece of my heart with them all! A must-read for anyone who loves dark fantasy romance!
