Who doesn’t love a romantasy novel with a cover like this one? I adore it! That was before I even read it. The first book in a series, and I am already dying for the next book.
It was a fast-paced story I just couldn’t put down from the minute I picked it up. We follow Lara, the masked bandit, who impersonates a Princess for reasons you learn in the book. Her fiancé is Cai, the Prince of a rival kingdom. She has the aim of gaining his trust and stealing precious.
The characters are vivid and have been developed well for the first book. I enjoyed getting to know them, even Lance, who seemed a touch on the shady side! I am just glad to know I will be able to return to this world.
It was truly a book that had me hooked. Interesting characters, romance, intrigue, and humour too! A fabulous read!
