Lisa Sell – Hidden

This is the first book I have read by Lisa Sell, and it will not be the last! To say I enjoyed it is an understatement!

Jen is a counsellor in training but, while helping others, she has her own burden to carry. She has a secret no one knows, but when the past comes back to haunt her, she embarks on a mission to make sure nobody finds out about that secret. The story switches from past and present one chapter at a time. I like this format and felt connected to Jen throughout. The story unfolds and the truth slowly emerges. The truth is harder to deal with than what Jen’s been hiding.

I didn’t guess the ending and found the twists added mystery throughout. A massive thank you to Lisa Sell for allowing me to have an advanced reader copy in return for an honest review.
