Colin Garrow – Terminal Black

Welcome back all! I’m really excited to be part of the book tour for Terminal Black by Colin Garrow. Thanks to Rachel’s Random Resources and Colin Garrow for the copy of the book to write my honest review.

A stolen identity. A hitman. A bent cop.

Relic Black takes things that don’t belong to him—credit cards, golf clubs, toothbrushes. But when a hitman mistakes him for someone else, Relic lands himself in a difficult situation. With a dead man on his hands and a guilty conscience, he sets off to save the life of the man whose identity he has stolen. And that’s when the real trouble starts…

I have read some of Colin Garrows’ books, and, as my reviews will show you, I enjoyed them all. Terminal Black is the first book in the Relic Black series. I was looking forward to reading this new book and couldn’t wait till I could settle down in peace to read.

Set in Scotland, we are introduced to plenty of characters. Some you can’t forget, some you want to forget and Relic, a man who loves taking things that don’t belong to him. They range from credit cards all the way to the identities of other people!

This time, he chose the wrong identity and finds himself in all sorts of situations. The worst one is being a target of a hitman… When it’s not even him, they want to kill, but his stolen identity!

A dark, twisty thriller with plenty of dark humour running through the story. I truly enjoyed this fast-paced plot. Colin Garrow certainly knows how to entertain the reader. It’s definitely a one more chapter type of book. I had to tear myself away from it to go to sleep. It was that addictive a read.

Terminal Black is a fantastic start to the series, and I will be reading the other books as and when I am able.
