Susan Buchanan has definitely created a unique and original concept within this book. Using the twelve signs of the zodiac and making each character have a different zodiac sign creates a fresh and interesting plotline that piqued my interest as soon as I had read the synopsis.
Twelve different characters, all interwoven with each other, in some way or another is a story not to miss. An eclectic mix of people that we meet at some point throughout the book.
Hollie an author is in Tuscany to research her latest book,ends up torn between sexy Dario and her longtime love Tom. The nine others are connected in some way to Hollie as well as connected to each other. I liked that the book is almost a collection of short stories with a connecting character making the link between them. This made the book even more of a ‘one more chapter’ before I put it down. Needless to say, it was almost impossible to actually put it down.
The fact that every character is a different Zodiac sign ensures that the characters are never boring at all. The traits and personalities match each of the signs. It was great to see how the character assigned with my sign went on too.
An entertaining, easy read that flies by as you learn of each character and their story. I got so involved with them all because they are so believable. If you are looking for a fast paced, original and interesting story this should fit the bill

Susan Buchanan lives in Scotland with her husband, their two young children and a crazy Labrador called Benji. She has been reading since the age of four and had to get an adult library pass early as she had read the entire children’s section by the age of ten.
Susan writes contemporary fiction, often set in Scotland, usually featuring travel, food or Christmas. When not working, writing, or caring for her two delightful cherubs, Susan loves reading (obviously), the theatre, quiz shows and eating out – not necessarily in that order!
