Wedding Wobbles is the concluding book in the Scott Family series. I haven’t read the previous books and found I could easily follow the story. I always usually prefer to read a series in order, as I prefer to get to know the characters so I can really understand them.
This particular novella follows Laura and Ben. We see them planning their wedding at ‘The Grand’. They have the perfect place for themselves, although there are some bad memories from things in the past. As we see everything being put in place for the wedding, we see drama within the family. Will Laura and Ben get the wedding day they want?
I proved Laura’s family. They are so funny. Her mum is a woman who will help everyone and try to make them feel special. The biggest issue is that everything goes wrong for her; constantly, she can’t quite get it right at all. She was a favourite of mine out of all the characters.
We meet Will’s family, who are funny but in a snobbish way. This is a comedy of errors that was really fun to read and such a light-hearted book with a meaningful look at family and how important it is.
I do wish I had read the other books first, but I will hopefully manage to fit them in at some point. I am looking forward to that day.
