‘Spring on Rendezvous Lane’ by Angela Britnell is a heartwarming, love story about new starts and second chances too. I always enjoy discovering new authors to me and Angela Britnell is a lovely discovery.

When Taran agrees to house sit for his Grandmother while she is recovering from an operation it is a rather large commitment for him to stay in one place for several months instead of globetrotting and writing his food blog. Sandy settled with her young son Chip, after her husband passed away, and gave up any ideas of travel and new relationships just don’t figure at all. She meets her new temporary neighbour, Taran and the sparks start to fly. They both have a lot of stuff from both their pasts, can they let it all go to create a new future for themselves? As the local park and centre point of the community is under threat from developers, Taran slowly learns what it is like to be part of a community and joins in the fight to save it with the other members of the community. Is he able to actually find himself capable of making a home in one place? Or is his wanderlust too strong to beat?
A lovely story of community, hope and love brought to us with well-defined strong characters and a tight-knit village community. Taran sees for himself the strength that is gained from being a part of something bigger and not just being alone.

This book really is an uplifting tale. I finished this book with such a warm cosy feeling, I do feel I have been missing out on not finding Angela Britnell until now.
Thanks to Rachel’s Random Resources and Choc Lit for the copy of the book.

Thank you for the lovely review and I’m always thrilled to have a new fan!
