Lisa Regan – Breathe Your Last

‘Breathe Your Last’ by Lisa Regan is the 10th instalment in the series of Detective Josie Quinn. I have previously read some of this series but not from book 1 or in order. This is a book you can read as a standalone too, very easily.

In this book, Josie discovers a dead body in the swimming pool when she visits her brother at work on the campus of the local college. The discovery of the body may be a shock but to discover it is a championship swimmer is even worse! Some people are prepared to put it down to a bizarre accident, but not Josie. The struggle comes when she needs concrete evidence to prove her theory. We again, see her team behind her every step of the way no matter what. Josie as a detective always follows her instincts and she is hardly ever wrong as she toils to get the result she needs, her determination and grit is open for all to see. This woman is one hell of a detective! A brilliant one at that!

A perfectly-paced book that was very hard to leave for any amount of time. Another excellent Josie Quinn book to add to the pile, as exhilarating as the others I have read as well.
