Jane Ryan – Two Kinds Of Blood

‘Two Kinds Of Blood’ by Jane Ryan is the second book to feature Detective Garda Bridget Harney the first bring 47 Seconds. Bridget is a feisty woman who has been transferred from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau into the Sexual Assault Unit with not many people knowing the reason and Bridget was quite happy to be there, until the day she decides she wants to go back to her old unit. Her knowledge of Sean Flannery, a man she would do anything to bring down, is embroiled in a drug shipment that will be going via Dublin so Bridget is back onboard.

What follows is a significant cat and mouse game ending in Barcelona where it seems that Bridget is in a race against time with the Venezuelan Fuentes Cartel to reach Sean Flannery. The only problem being is, which will Bridget chose if she reaches him first, Revenge or justice?

An absolute action-packed, adrenaline-inducing story. A woman who is determined enough to get to the bottom of everything she never falters although she has to sometimes dig a bit deeper to carry on, especially when it’s personal.
