Astrid is certain that her boss, Daniel, is her mothers killer, she sets out to seduce him. As time goes on it becomes clear that he has become a target also. Astrid certainly realises she doesn’t know the full story. So she needs to learn what happened on that fatal night to get real revenge!

This is a short book with so much packed into it, Hélene has managed to delve into the past as well as develop her characters so well. I actually felt like this could have been a full-length novel as usually you don’t feel like you are really into the story with a novella but I found this one an exception to the rule. One Fatal Night is a quick, intriguing and thrilling read.
