The fifth book in the Norfolk Murders series, Death at Fakenham Races, is a brilliant addition. Ross Greenwood knows what his readers want, and he brings it in spades!

DI Ashley Knight finds herself in the middle of the horse racing world after a brutal attack at Fakenham Racecourse. What she finds is much more than just the glamour that everyone expects. Yet another amazing crime thriller from Ross Greenwood. I have read all his books, and this one is just as good as the rest. This series is going from strength to strength as it goes on. The characters in whichever series from this author are always fully developed, and I feel like I know them. I was glad to be back with Ashley. The banter she has with the team is one of my favourite bits. I do enjoy a bit of lightness amongst the darkness of the story.

The pacing is fast, and it had me whizzing through the book so quickly. This always happens with this author’s books!! I love them, and  I hate it when I shut my Kindle down after I have finished. The twists and turns were plenty, and I was so engrossed in the state of the racing community! Another belter from the mind of Ross Greenwood.

Ross Greenwood is the author of crime thrillers. Before becoming a full-time writer he was most recently a prison officer and so worked everyday with murderers, rapists and thieves for four years. He lives in Peterborough.
