We are back again with Charley Underwood in the fourth book of the Charley Underwood Series, Bloodlust Shadows. It may be the fourth book, but Luanne Bennett shows no signs of slowing down. She throws the reader right into the action and doesn’t let go for a minute!
I always look forward to these books because I can’t get enough of Charley and her world. She is planning on fixing her bar, the Stag, up after dealing with a rogue witch and a bloodsucking monster. She doesn’t have the most normal customers you know! Her plans are put to the side when customers begin to turn up at the bar battered and unable to explain why. It seems that an old enemy is out for revenge and happy to drag everybody down to make their mark! Then someone goes missing, and Charley realises how far they will go to hurt her.
Luanne Bennett writes the most immersive supernatural urban fantasies. I love everything about these books. Great characters that are consistently developing and a setting that is so detailed make me addicted to the series. There is never a dull moment with Charley!
Action-packed and thrilling story-telling at a pace that never slows. This is addictive reading at its best!
