Well, Valerie Keogh has done it again! This is the third book in the fabulous Dublin murder series, in which the main character is Detective Garda Sergeant Mike West. Although it is part of a series it is also fine as a standalone.

After a traumatic incident for the very special person in his life, Mike decides to whisk her away, but, as we all know…if Mike is around nothing goes to plan!

As I found with the previous two books, it’s a great plot and Valerie never lets up on the intrigue throughout. The character development is excellent and I found I couldn’t put it down (I find this happens an awful lot with books I choose to read!)
