My Review

Now it’s time for my third review for Rob Sinclair and the sixth book in the James Ryker Series, The Rengade. I have read the last three books in succession. I was so engrossed in the series that I just kept on going! It says a lot that I could read the three back to back. Rob Sinclair has the skill of keeping the reader entrenched in the Ryker world.

When a routine operation goes awry. The threat to everything, including the Joint Intelligence Unit that Ryker works for, is imminent. Ryker has more than a challenge when his good friend Sam Moreno goes missing as well. He finds himself trapped, knowing he should be following protocol. Ryker decides it’s time to follow his own rules to find and punish the people responsible.

My third review and,what can I say? Rob Sinclair certainly understands his readers and what they expect from The James Ryker Series. I can not fault his storytelling skills. He can weave a tale that leaves the reader wanting more constantly.

The action, intrigue, and tension are all there yet again. His characters are spot on. I get so invested in these thrillers and find myself on the edge of my seat as the tension rises.

We have to remember this is SIX books into a series! It never gets old or boring. There is always something fresh and exciting with every single instalment I read. The pace is fast. The fascination with the plot is like it’s his first foray, but we know it’s not. I think James Ryker needs to be around for a long time to come. I hope he is!
