‘Medusa: Miranda is Back’ by Stewart Giles is the third book in the Miranda series. Miranda for anyone who has not been introduced to this lovely lady yet, is a psychopathic serial killer. Poor Detective Henry Swales is the officer who has been chasing her internationally for what seems like forever (for him, not me btw). This series is so entertaining, but I love anything Stewart writes, be it Jason Smith or Miranda, I am guaranteed a fantastic read that is action-packed from beginning to end, anyway, back to Miranda’s third book.

This particular book picks up were number two left off. Miranda has escaped from Death Row and is attempting to evade capture by Swales, who, again is on her tail. The story is again told in flashback style and this increases our curiosity due to the fact we already know outcomes but have no clue how that outcome is reached.

I love the pace of these books and the characters almost feel like friends after the other books too. A trilogy that has reached it’s conclusion with this finale to finish Miranda’s journey with as much excitement and action as possible! Well done Stewart sorry Miranda won’t be having any more killing sprees, but everything comes to an end and she has gone out in style!
