‘The Phoenix Project’ by Michelle Kidd is a book for those of us who love action-packed, tension-filled intriguing stories. The epitome of a nail-biting book!

In a race against time, the story takes us to many a country at breakneck speed in an attempt to solve the mystery surrounding Isabel and her parents.

I thought the characters were well-drawn to the point of feeling like I was with Isabel and Macintosh. I loved how Macintosh was tenacious as a dog with his determination to get to the truth. The amount of twists and turns kept the momentum of this book up for me and kept me glued to my kindle too! I would love to see D.I Macintosh in another book, I enjoyed this one so much!
