‘It’s Raining Men’ by Rich Amooi is the very first book I have read by Rich. I was carried away with the most wonderful escapist romance novel that has the most brilliant but everyday, realistic characters and relatable issues.

Faith’s friends get her to throw a coin into a fountain and wish for the man of her absolute dreams. She isn’t holding her breath waiting anyway. Then, she seems to be the centre of every single man’s attention all of a sudden! Faith wonders if there is something in this after all!

Faith is a well-loved member of her community and she puts her all into it. A widow of five years and truly convinced that it, love has been and gone. I really took to Faith, a lovely, generous woman who you just want to These are delicate subjects to deal with and Rich has handled them fantastically well.

I will be on the lookout for more of Rich Amooi’s books now as I enjoyed the funny and feel-good story from start to finish.
