‘Paparazzi’ by Jo Fenton is the second book in the Becky White thriller series. We are at The White Knight Detective Agency that has been started six months after Becky White left the police force, suffering from PTSD.

Their first client is a member of the Paparazzi who comes to them saying she has a stalker. As the case develops they find themselves in the middle of murder and it doesn’t get any easier. The investigation starts to turn in ways they don’t expect.
Can they get to the bottom of this before a child’s life is put in danger?

A story full of twists and turns with a mounting tension throughout that really grabbed my attention. The characters are fascinating and I liked getting to know Becky and Joanna with Becky’s struggle with her issues from the past and Joanna’s issues that are linked to Becky’s husband.

The fact that the book is set in and around Manchester really got me comfy and highly interested as I am from Oldham next to Manchester. Such a gripping story that has been so well written that I felt as if I was there, particularly as I am familiar with the setting. This made it even more realistic for me. I will be going back to Jo Fenton’s other books as I really do enjoy the style of writing and the mystery she creates.
