She danced with the devil once…now she’s back for more. 💥
A decade after her husband Sean’s murder, Josie O’Connor has built his empire into something feared across London’s underworld. But respect is still in short supply. To the men circling her, she’s just a widow keeping the throne warm… and they’re impatient to take what Sean left behind.
Josie hasn’t forgotten the night Sean died—or the men responsible. And she’s finally ready to settle the score, no matter how bloody the path to justice becomes.
But danger isn’t only lurking on the streets. At home, her teenage daughter Orla is slipping out of Josie’s grip, testing boundaries and attracting the wrong kind of attention. As Orla rebels, Josie’s enemies see their chance to strike where she’s most vulnerable.
With rivals plotting her downfall and traitors hiding in plain sight, Josie must decide who she can trust—before the Dublin widow loses everything she’s fought to protect.

My Review
Stephanie Harte is an author who is on my go-to list of authors. An automatic read for me; I don’t have to read the blurb, I pick it up because I enjoy her writing that much!
Dublin Widow is the second book in the O’Conner’s series. Set ten years after Sean O’Connor’s murder, Josie O’Connor has built what was his empire, into something the London criminal underworld fears. It doesn’t stop the disrespect from the males who are just waiting to take what they see as theirs. Then there is Josie’s daughter Orla, rebelling against her mother’s ways. As Josie does her best to keep Orla in check, her enemies see that she is vulnerable and decide it is time. Can she find someone to trust or will this be it?
A gritty gangland story which had me gripped from the first to the last page! Stephanie Harte has a knack for creating believable and layered characters. This adds so much to her storytelling, I always feel like I could know them. Josie is a woman who has the strength of an army. I admire the effort and strength that she showed alongside her determination to keep the place she has forged for herself.
Packed full of action as well as plenty of tension, this is an excellent addition to the series. Stephanie Harte never lets me down, she manages to tick every box I have for gangland crime books. Dublin Widow is another immersive read and I hate leaving the characters behind. At least there is another book to look forward to. I highly recommend this book to any gangland crime readers, in fact, I would recommend any of Stephanie Harte’s books!
