Thanks to DLM Tours for the gifted ebook to write my honest review.
A British cosy dog-detective mystery for the young in all of us.
There have been amateur sleuths, there have been talking animals – Henry is both.
This is Family Guy’s Brian meets Poirot meets My Fair Lady. Set in Northamptonshire, England…
Henry, a talking Jack Russell, is part of a small team researching a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. The target of several dognappers, can he use his wit or guile to outwit them and, with the help of laboratory assistant Gwynne Davies, find the proof needed to convict the criminals?
Thus begins a series of adventures for the unlikely pair. Henry, a nineteen-month-old Jack Russell, has been given the ability to talk and now they can’t shut him up! Family Guy’s Brian with just as much attitude but better sleuthing skills

My Review
This is my first book by Morgen Bailey, but after seeing the cover and reading the blurb, I had no hesitation in picking up Oh, Henry. It is the first book in the Henry Houdini Dog Detective series and I couldn’t wait to start reading.
A cosy, funny, talking, dog detective mystery story. I have had dogs all my life and that was the initial draw. The next one was that this is a talking dog too!! I mean what could be better? I am certain there is no dog owner who hasn’t wondered what their dog or dogs, would sound like if they spoke! I know my husband and myself have had many a conversation about what our three dogs would sound like!! It cracked me up everytime! So Henry Houdini, the talking dog gave me so many chuckles.
I adored Henry and loved the bond he had with Gwynne, the woman who fed and cared for him in the lab he lived in. He ends up getting kidnapped which makes for the mystery. Who dognapped Henry?
Along the way we meet a plethora of characters, some nice and others not so much! The capers of the dognappers kept me entertained too. Morgen Bailey has managed to create a fabulous read that kept a smile on my face from start to finish. Henry is my favourite fictional dog now!
