A Shore Thing is another amazing read. Set on a Caribbean island with the sun, sea and well a TV crew! It is such a unique setting and plot that I just loved it from start to finish.
We are introduced to Cleo, a casting producer and Lockie, her co-casting producer. They produce the programme Welcome to Singledom! a reality dating show. They can’t always get on at work and it shows! There is a weather event which causes major issues. Two contestants haven’t made it to filming, so, as nothing stops the cameras from whirring. We see Cloe and Lockie stepping in for the original people. Hold on to your braces, there may be some drama!!
Oh, I loved it! Cloe and Lockie had me laughing so much. The amount of time they have to spend together amounts to plenty of tension and moments they wish the ground would swallow them up! There is also an undeniable chemistry that grows as the story unfolds. I adore this trope and was totally entertained with these two characters!
A book that gave me an armchair holiday with plenty of entertainment. I loved feeling like I was with them as everything played out. The pages whizzed by and I even tried to slow down with my reading so it would last longer. I was sad to leave them all so soon. I still think about this one and have a giggle now and then.
