I have been waiting so impatiently for this book since I finished The Serpent’s Bride. I couldn’t wait to turn the Kindle on! I had such high expectations, and boy! Did Kathryn Ann Kingsley fulfill them!
Again, it’s packed with everything that makes this series a top read for me: so much drama, betrayal, and spice! Loved it. The book picks up from the end of the first book, with Raziel knowing Nadi’s real identity and his proposition for her.
The amount of treachery and lies that seem to be everywhere, especially around Raziel’s family, kept me intrigued. I was dying to find out what would happen. That alone kept me reading. The drama and tension just kept going, and it made this a delicious read!
The character development is excellent again. We learn about Raziel’s background, and that shows us why he is as he is! Nadi herself finds herself with some serious decisions to make, and we see her struggle to make her choice. One thing that is evident, no matter how much background noise is around them, is that they cannot deny the chemistry between them!
Wow! Yet again, I have to wait for the next book! With characters like these, I hate leaving them! Brilliant world-building and such an addictive read!
