My Review
Gillian Godden writes such realistic gangland thrillers. I have read all the previous books in the series and was excited to read this last installment.
The Lambrianu family has had more than its fair share of betrayals, drama, and so much tension. To return to it was fabulous! The characters are all so lifelike that it feels as if they could just jump out of the pages.
Everyone is back and in full technicolour too! A gritty thriller that is well worth picking up. I would say to read the full series first, but that is how I am. Gillian Godden shines a light on the gangland world so well. The brutality and determination of this family should not be underestimated! I was glued to this final book!
What a conclusion!! It’s the perfect ending for this series! It has been addictive reading from the first to the last book. I am extremely excited to see what comes next for this author!

Gillian Godden is a brilliantly reviewed writer of gangland fiction as well as a full-time NHS Key Worker in Hull. She lived in London for over thirty years, where she sets her thrillers, and during this time worked in various stripper pubs and venues which have inspired her stories.
