My Review
The Other Mother is the second book by Heidi Field that I have read. The first was The Other Boy, the first in this series. I enjoyed the first book so much that I was really waiting for The Other Mother to be released! I would say that they can be read as standalones, but if you read them as a series , it adds even more depth. The Other Mother follows a certain character from the first book, and the reader gets to see everything from a different perspective. This is genius! I was hooked! Heidi Field is an author whose writing I really enjoy reading! She creates characters that make you feel like you could be standing with them. The emotions just pour off the pages! Suzannah is a woman who constantly had me changing my opinion of her! The suspense and tension were incredible! I just couldn’t put it down, which is how the first book had me. The storyline is still as original as The Other Boy, which I really appreciated. That had me flipping the pages so fast too. The downside to that is I finished it way too soon! Now I have to be patient and wait for Heidi Field’s next book!

Author Bio
Heidi Field was raised in the beautiful countryside of the South of England with her parents and her two sisters. In her twenties she was a freelance Sports Massage Therapist. She achieved a Degree in Zoology at the age of thirty and then went on to raise two boys and became the stepmother of three more young children. She still lives near her family home with her partner, their Great Dane and the children that have yet to fly the nest. In her early forties Heidi completed a Masters in Creative Writing at Winchester University. She entered the course hoping she would become a children’s fantasy writer and left with a burning desire to write contemporary mysteries and thrillers. Heidi wanted to put relatable people in extraordinary situations, challenge them, push them to their limits and watch them fight for their sanity. The Other Mother is Heidi’s second novel, the next book in The Peasedale Woods Killers series.
