Thanks to Bookouture Books for my gifted ebook to write my honest review.
As my eyes slowly start to open, I find myself at the foot of the stairs. I should be confused about how I got here. But I already know. I didn’t trip. It wasn’t an accident. She pushed me.
Me: Before I met Andrew, I never believed in love at first sight. But when we meet for the first time, I know he’s meant for me. Within days, we start a whirlwind romance and over candlelit dinners, we plan our dream future.
When Andrew suggests we move in together, I say yes instantly. But the dream soon shatters when I see his mother at the front door. Watching me carry my bags upstairs, I can feel her piercing stare. She doesn’t want me here.
Her: I watch in horror as Daisy relaxes into her new home with my Andrew. I’ve met women like Daisy before, I know what they’re capable of. And I will do anything to protect him.
But then I remind myself: Daisy has come into our lives like a moth to a flame. There’s only ever been room for one woman in this house. And I already know how this love story is going to end.
A totally gripping and pulse-pounding psychological thriller packed with twist after twist. Perfect for fans of The Housemaid, The Girl on the Train and The Wife Between Us.

I am a lover of tense and twisty psychological thrillers. It’s Me or Her sounded right up my street! I have read other books by this author, so I knew I would enjoy the read.
Told from the perspectives of two women. Daisy and Rachel. Daisy has a chance encounter with Andrew at work, and the chemistry is there. As she gets to know him and discovers he still lives with his mother, Rachel, she feels a bit uneasy. That’s until the day she has no choice but to move in with them. Daisy has the feeling Rachel isn’t that keen on her, but Andrew won’t have it. He insists everything is ok and she is worrying unnecessarily.
Victoria Jenkins has written this so well! The short punch chapters, with the tension slowly building as the pages fly by. It’s fast-paced and such a gripping read. This is a book that grabs you and doesn’t let go for a moment!
The number of twists kept me on the edge of my seat! They were absolutely perfect! I even had some OMG moments and that ending! Amazing storytelling!! It ticked all my boxes for a psychological thriller anyway!
