My Review
A returning author to the blog! Paul Clayton has written three books, and I have now read and reviewed all three with this review. I was so glad to see another psychological thriller from him. My Lie Your Lie was a book which I didn’t even look at the blurb before I read it. It was a no-brainer for me.
Patrick’s world implodes the day his husband leaves him, for a woman! Marcella is her name, and she seems to be Barney’s holy grail. Patrick can’t wrap his head around why he left. Why, Marcella and why now? He has why? swirling in his head so much. His path turns darker and blurs into obsession, a place where love and hate slowly morph into something so dangerous that the secrets he digs up threaten his past and his future.
What a dark and twisty read this is! Paul Clayton is such a fabulous writer that I couldn’t fault this book at all! As I read the darker and more unhinged, it became. The lines blur, and the suspense rises. I was so intrigued with how this was going to go! I wasn’t going to put this book down at all! Addictive reading from the first page! Paul Clayton has done it again! I am hoping he will write another thriller and I will 1000% read it!

Currently, he appears as Drew Peacock in EastEnders, Dennis in Disney’s sequel to The Full Monty and has featured in Brian and Margaret, Wolf Hall, House of the Dragon, and over 300 stage and screen roles.
He’ll be seen in the new ITV thriller Secret Service, and in Season 3 of House of the Dragon
Beyond acting, Paul is an internationally recognised creative event director and sought-after presentation coach.
