My Review
This is a book that drew me by the blurb. Maria’s Shadow is a gripping and highly charged thriller. It highlights such sensitive but revelant, modern-day issues.
Fast-paced, gritty, authentic, and brutal in its telling. This is a thriller that people need to read. People trafficking and corruption are all woven into a well written tale.
The characters are detailed and well fleshed out, making them believable. There are some evil characters who I hated and some less so. My heart went out to Maria. In fact, it broke into a million pieces as I read.
A definite thriller that had my adrenaline pumping and my tears flowing too! A must-read!
