I am a reader and blogger who enjoys a wide variety of genres. Dolos is a thriller that’s not just a thriller. L H Fox has written much more than ‘just a thriller’. I feel like it’s a blend of thriller with adventure and obviously the cryptocurrency.
I read another book that was set in the financial world, and I adored it. So, when I read what Dolos was about, I jumped at it. I was soon transfixed at Sebastian Locke’s side. He is a character who I found intriguing. He has a memory that can remember everything, which made me feel like he could be a little neurodiverse.
He begins to attempt to unravel the secrets of his parent’s lives, and it soon turns into much more! I found this an adrenaline rush as the story very quickly unfolded as the pages flew by.
L H Fox grabs the reader and doesn’t let go at all. He makes sure the reader understands as much as possible. This is so handy because I didn’t know much about cryptocurrency. I can’t say I’m a professional, but I got it.
Riveting and definitely a book I couldn’t put down at all. I am so glad I read Dolos. LH Fox is a debut author to watch. Believe me, I am watching!

I didn’t start as a storyteller.
For over a decade I navigated the world of high finance in London, immersed in balance sheets, projections, and market trends.
Yet, during a particular research project I stumbled on a powerful realisation: the ideas I had always regarded as fictions of the future are becoming very real.

When I wrote Dolos, I sought to answer two questions:
1. How could someone create a cryptocurrency worth over a trillion dollars while remaining invisible to governments, media, and federal agencies?
2. Is this person powerful enough to crash the global financial system, unravel modern civilisation, and set humanity back to the 18th century?
I found my answers. They were quite unsettling.
