Stephanie Harte – Double Dealings

Thanks to Rachel’s Random Resources and Boldwood Books for the gifted ebook to join the tour today.

A sister out for revenge…
With her twin sister still missing, Daisy Kennedy is determined to do all she can to bring her sister home. She’s sure she knows who’s to blame – her old boos and renowned nightclub owner, Samson Fox – but she’s going to need help if she’s going to make Samson pay.
And so Daisy joins forces with Samson’s biggest rival – Roscoe Allen – a man who has seen and done things that makes Daisy shiver. But if she wants Lily back safe, she’s going to have to make a deal…even if it is with the devil himself.
All Roscoe wants is revenge. But as they get closer to finding Lily, Samson has one more card up his sleeve, which could spell disaster for everyone.

Book two in The Kennedy Twins series. A gritty gangland thriller that kept me reading all day!

Double Dealings picks up from where Double Trouble Trouble ends. Lily Kennedy is on the missing list, and her twin knows exactly who has her. In order to get Lily back, Daisy knows she has to join forces with the one man who who puts the fear of god in her. As they get closer to finding Lily, her captor makes a play that could send them all spiralling.

Stephanie Harte sure knows how to grab her readers. With every book I read, the more she reminds me of authors like Martina Cole or Heather Burnside. Her characters are of a quality that I feel I know them. I could feel Daisys anger and determination to find her sister. This is such an intense story. I was as determined as Daisy to find out if they got her back and how everything played out.

The drama and tension made this a guaranteed one more chapter read. I always loathe, having to put this type of book down and get back to it as soon as I can. The twists and suspense definitely raised the blood pressure, too!! I’m looking forward to the next!
