My Review
There is nothing better than a psychological thriller that has so much suspense running throughout. The Foster Daughter is that book.
Laura Wolfe is an author whose books I do look forward to reading. When this one landed on my Kindle, I wasted no time in diving in. I was hooked right away. The characters are fully rounded, and I had no clue who to trust. The intricately crafted plot just kept throwing twists and turns that had my jaw dropping and me on the edge of my seat in expectation.
The fact that the action begins straight away makes it such a fast-paced read. I just couldn’t stop flipping the pages. Well, not until I fell asleep anyway! That’s the only reason I didn’t finish on the same day. Tension, suspense, atmospheric, and deep. All this together makes it a book that ticks all my boxes for an excellent read.
