My Review
An urban fantasy, Bloodlust Bites had a blurb that made me feel like there was no refusing to read this book. I have a pure love for fantasy novels, one I never knew existed until a few years ago. This one ticked every box!
Vampires, witches, and even werewolves are brought to life so vividly! It is the second book of the series, but the author clearly references from the past. It made it so I didn’t feel like I was missing information needed to keep up with the story.
I enjoyed getting to know the main character, Charley. A bar owner who is a witch and so much more! She is trying to understand how to use her powers and needs it sorting like yesterday. There is so much action packed into this book that I was turning the pages, constantly promising myself, “Just one more chapter.” This promise never worked out! I stayed up way too late because I didn’t want to leave Charley and the fantasy world she lives in.
Luanne Bennett is an author I have added to my go-to author list now. Bloodlust Bites is a fantasy tale that has given me a new addictive series! It’s definitely a recommended read!
