Today, I am part of a non – Fiction book tour. A collection of poetry by JM Langan. Thanks to ZooLoo’s Book Tours and the author for my gifted ebook on exchange for my honest review.
A collection of poetry that paints a picture of life, one that I could relate to so easily. It’s emotional, sensitive, and soul baring. I am not an absolute fan of poetry, but I sat down planning to read a poem or two. I got so wrapped up in the collection that I kept starting the next poem. By the time I had finished reading, I had read so much more than I expected.
The fact that poetry is more often than not so personal creates a feeling of closeness to the author. I was affected in such a way that I just wanted to reach through the pages and offer a hug, a cup of tea or coffee, and a heart to heart chat.
The author has even included links for anyone affected while reading certain poems. I do appreciate this inclusion as reading the book does bring home the horrors of life and just how strong you have to be to move forward. I felt honoured to be able to share this with the author and now also the readers of my blog.

Author Bio
JM Langan’s work has been published in various online journals and anthologies including; The Cabinet of Heed, The Drabble, 50-Word Stories, Poetic Sun and The Crowstep Journal – Jane is working on her first novel. She has an MA in creative writing.
When she is not writing she can be found either tap dancing or gardening, usually not at the same time. She is also a mum, wife and the cat’s obedient servant.
