My Review
This is one of those types of reads where nothing is what you think, even the characters. I was gripped pretty quickly. I was intrigued by this storyline. Nic’s husband tells her that they are struggling financially and then goes missing a day later. The question is, has something happened to him, or is there more at play?
There is something about seriously flawed characters that make a thriller more suspenseful for me. Her Husband’s Lie has plenty of those, so I was dying to discover what, who, why, and where!
Amanda Reynolds is an author who, for me, writes a cracking thriller, and this latest is another that ticks the boxes. It seems she can’t go wrong! Suspense, tension, and atmosphere, along with seriously interesting and real characters. I was glued to my Kindle, and the pages flew by until the end. I am looking forward to what she releases next.
