My Review
This is my first book by Alex Dahl, and I am a true fan now. A glam noir thriller that kept me invested all the way.
Told mainly from the perspectives of Charlotte and Bianka, two women who become friends. It’s a friendship that takes a creepy turn when they go on a girls’ holiday. Charlotte realises that Bianka isn’t quite the person that she thought she was. As the plot develops, so does the pressure and tension. I was so obsessed I couldn’t put it down!
Each and every character is vividly detailed with their own unique voices. This adds such depth to the storytelling and made me feel I could know these women.
Such a well paced thriller and one that I really do recommend! Now I’m off to get some of Alex Dahl’s other books!

Alex Dahl is a half-American, half-Norwegian author. Born in Oslo, she studied Russian and
German linguistics with international studies, then went on to complete an MA in creative writing at Bath Spa University and an MSc in business management at Bath University. A committed Francophile, Alex loves to travel, and has so far lived in Moscow, Paris, Stuttgart, Sandefjord, Switzerland, Bath and London.
