I’m super excited to be on the book tour for The Couple Across The Street by Anita Waller. Thanks to Rachel’s Random Resources and Boldwood Books for the gifted ebook to write my honest review.

A darkness settles on this supposedly quiet street…

It appears someone else had an axe to grind. But for Clare, already reeling from secrets from her own late husband’s dark past, she’s about to find out this murder isn’t as straightforward as it may appear…

Such an excellently written psychological thriller. The Couple Across The Street is another example of why I need to read Anita Waller’s books. I have read the majority of them. They are always such addictive reads.

This book is a little different from her others. The pace is a little slower, but it doesn’t feel detrimental to the storyline. Told from multiple perspectives to which gives a fuller picture of everything as the tale unfolds. Not full enough, though, that I knew everything that would happen… nothe author does a very good job of throwing enough red herrings, twists, and turns in to keep me guessing.

The characters themselves are, as always, with Anita Waller so well created. Each one unique with their own individual story to tell. I was captivated to the point that I couldn’t stop reading. Every time I thought I knew it all, another twist came my way.

A suspenseful and tense read with a conclusion that was still shocking, even after all my guessing and thinking I knew it all! Another book that is just as high quality as the rest. Anita Waller never fails to impress me with her writing!
