Diane Jeffrey’s latest book, The Other Couple, is yet another psychological thriller that had me glued to it until the last page.
Kirsten and Nick accidentally knock a man over, killing him. They panic and hide the body. Meanwhile, Amy is worrying because her husband hasn’t returned home or contacted her. When the police are brought in, Amy is sure something has happened to him. But what and by whom? Amy plans to find out, one way or another.
Diane Jeffrey has, again, knocked it out of the park with The Other Couple. From the prologue that immediately makes the reader sit up and pay attention to the well fleshed out characters. This is a chilling and intense thriller that has the reader glued to the pages. Kirsten and Nick are perfectly horrible, and Amy herself I was emotionally invested in, from the start.
A psychological thriller that’s so well written. The fact that I ‘thought’ I knew which way the story was going so many times but got it totally wrong created a tense, twisty read. It’s dark, chilling, atmospheric, and most of all, such an entertaining read. I am looking forward to what Diane Jeffrey writes next!
