Being a massive fan of John Grisham, Central Park West sounded just up my street. This is the first book I have read by James Comey. Believe me, it won’t be my last!
The fact that James Comeys’ experience of being the FBI’s director definitely shines through this book. It may be his fictional debut, but he knows how to weave a story. It’s so authentic and kept me glued to the pages. Everything just sounded so realistic that I could see it playing out in my head. It had everything I needed to make it such a fascinating read.
Mafia, murders and with enough twists to send me up a few blind alleys, it’s a thrilling tale. The characters of Nora and Benny were so well fleshed out, and they had their unique parts to play within the story. I am hoping there is another book coming as I would be so interested to see what happens for everyone in the future.
A definite page turner with a multi layered and complex plot that I couldn’t get enough of from start to finish.

About the author
James Comey was born in New York City and attended the College of William and Mary and Chicago Law School. He worked as an assistant district attorney in New York, prosecuting organised crime figures, and on
terrorism cases as assistant DA in Virginia. He moved into federal law enforcement, serving as the seventh Director of the FBI from 2013 until May 9, 2017, when he was fired by President Donald Trump. Central Park
West is his first novel.
