I’m on the tour for Adrift by M.A. Hunter. Thanks to Rachel’s Random Resources and Boldwood Books for the gifted ebook to write my unbiased review today.

A stag do, six old friends … and a secret they’d all kill to protect.
When Pete and his friends set sail on a private yacht in the Balearics to celebrate Fergus’ upcoming wedding, they’re all looking forward to sun, sea, and copious quantities of alcohol.
But there’s a reason they are still entwined in each other’s lives a decade after leaving university. A terrible event they’ve all been trying their hardest to forget.
They say you can’t outrun the past … And these six friends are about to find that out the hard way.

When the book is called Adrift, and it’s set on a yacht, I knew I was in for a chilling read. Especially when the author is M.A Hunter, too. I have read a few of his books and loved all of them.
A group of friends reunite for a weekend of celebrating the upcoming wedding for one of them. They expect a few days of nothing but fun for them. What they get is as far away from fun that they can get. As people start ending up dead, it’s not looking good for the rest! Unless the remaining people can thwart the killer before they too end up dead.
Told from both the present day and ten years before. The reader learns of how these men are still connected and why. The pace is fast, and the tension is as tight as it can be when people are dying on board a yacht that’s just drifting.
I was constantly on edge as I guessed and guessed again, to no avail as every guess I made ended up dead. The suspense had me about as close as i could get to the edge of my seat. With a strong set of characters who kept me hooked from the start and such twists to make it a book I read in such little time. This is a highly recommended thriller from me!
