This was my first book by Claire Seeber, and I have no clue why I have never read any of her books before. The Birthday Reunion is a psychological thriller with a title, cover, and synopsis that almost begged me to read it. It certainly kept its side of the bargain! I read it all in one sitting. It had me hooked from page one.
Told from multiple perspectives, the story effortlessly moves from present to past and back again, as the twists kept me turning the pages until I had none left to turn!
Claire Seeber did an excellent job of increasing the tension throughout. I was constantly on edge, wondering what would be next…or even who! Such a suspenseful read! If you are wondering what to read next, The Birthday Reunion is out NOW.
