For My Sins is the third book in The David Trilogy. This was my first foray into this series, and although I had no issue reading this one, I just wished I had started from the first book, only because I wanted to read more!
A psycho thriller with subject matter that’s not going to be for you if you have triggers. The list of triggers is at the end of the blurb. Please make sure you check them over. From the start, the reader dives into David’s world. He is on a path that’s as dark as it could be. All he wants is to pay back how he has been mistreated in his life.
The adrenaline running through this had my pulse racing! I felt like I was on the edge of my seat throughout this. The pages really did fly by. It may be dark, but S C Cunningham weaves humour throughout the story. At times, it did actually make me really laugh out loud as I read.
For My Sins is an addictive read. One of those you don’t even realise is creeping up on you until you realise you can’t put the book down. Not even at two in the morning! I definitely need to find out everything about what twisted stuff David got up to previously. It’s slick, twisted, funny, and you won’t want to stop reading. I know I didn’t.
