It’s been a while since I read Paparazzi, the last book in the Becky White thriller series. I was so glad to be able to return to her world with this book. What I will say is, if you want to read this, read the first two books, then read Fabergé. You can thank me later. The characters have back stories, which will give you more insight into them.
I totally feel at home reading this series. Probably partly due to the fact they are set in what I can class, ‘my neck of the woods’. That’s Manchester, as well as Preston, too. Told from multiple perspectives, which I always like because you get a more rounded picture of the full story.
Fabergé eggs are so special in my eyes that this title made the book stand out. Even before I realised it was a Becky White thriller, I wanted to read this book. As always with a book by Jo Fenton, this is a thriller that’s written so well. It is tense and exciting with characters that you feel you could know. It’s great to have characters who aren’t without problems. It makes them feel so real as the book unfolded.
A thriller that I didn’t want to stop reading. The only problem with that is, I finished it way too quickly for my liking. It didn’t seem like ten minutes since I started reading it! I was glued to the Kindle all the way through. Another cracker of a book! It’s such an enjoyable series!

Jo Fenton grew up in Hertfordshire, UK. She devoured books from an early age, particularly enjoying adventure books, school stories and fantasy. She wanted to be a scientist from aged six after being given a wonderful book titled “Science Can Be Fun”. At eleven, she discovered Agatha Christie and Georgette Heyer, and now has an eclectic and much loved book collection cluttering her home office.
Jo combines an exciting career in Clinical Research with an equally exciting but very different career as a writer of psychological thrillers.
