I’m so happy to say I’m part of the My Sister’s Secret by Diane Saxon blog tour. My review is late, but I am sending big apologies to Rachel Gilbey and Boldwood Books. Thanks to them both for allowing me to join the tour and the gifted ARC.

Four sisters, four secrets. Who has the deadliest of them all?
Something happened to me when I was nine.
My childhood memories before that fateful day are gone. Extinguished.
The aftermath has become a living nightmare with a guilt that runs so deep that I’m not sure I can ever tell anyone. I fear I’ve left it too late…
The burden of my secret and the hurt and pain that silence cost each and every member of my family is too overwhelming.
But you can’t avoid fate and now I have the opportunity to right the wrongs inflicted on us.
There was no justice. Not then. Not now. But I can change that.
The big question is, how far am I willing to go?

Diane Saxon writes books that are always well written, suspenseful, and have characters so skilfully described that you feel you know them. This book is no different. My Sister’s Secret had me hooked immediately.
Told from multiple perspectives that’s aren’t always clear cut. This adds to the intrigue of who is doing what. It is a story of childhood abuse where the perpetrator has not been uncovered. Four sisters, all individuals, and each as different from the other all tell their stories. One is determined to right a wrong from the past, which one though is the question here.
A story of family, abuse, and secrets. Diane Saxon writes about a sensitive topic without going to far but leaving it to the readers’ imagination. We learn so much about each sister and their mum, too. Each character is unique to the other, and as the secrets are told, we discover some are hiding much bigger secrets than you would think possible.
Such a cleverly written book. I couldn’t work out who was taking retribution against the abusers. One minute, I would think it was one person, and then I would change my mind again and again. This is the type of book I love to read. Twisty, tense and teeming with emotion. Diane Saxon has smashed it again!
