It was a romantic comedy that was just what I needed to read. Gracie Player is an author I haven’t heard of before, so I went right into this book bot knowing if I would really enjoy it. Turned out I loved it.
The story and the characters were so enjoyable that it managed to transport me out of my life for the time it took me to read it. I loved Daisy and felt for her as she decided the only way forward was to escape her life as she knew it.
The romance, the humour, and the beautiful setting entranced me throughout. To the point that I didn’t want to leave Daisy when I reached the end of the book! Gracie Players writing style just flowed so well for me. I could empathise so much with Daisy in her life.
This may be the first book I have read by this author, but it won’t be the last. I recommend anyone who needs a bit of lightness and laughter in their lives to read this book.
