I’m please to say it’s my stop on The Word Is Love by Florence Keeling blog tour. I must thank Rachel’s Random Resources for inviting me and gifting the copy of the book to take part.

Lucky in life but unlucky in love, Lucy Greenfield owns a successful carriage business along with her best friend Max, and they have never been busier since their shire horses gained fame from their roles in the hit movie A Little in Love.
Too busy for romance, Lucy is surprisingly swept off her feet when Spencer arrives seeking help with his horse, and something more from Lucy. As quickly as Lucy falls, she wonders if all is not as it seems. Max can prove it, but that means he will have to express his true feelings for Lucy.
Relationships are strained as secrets unravel, and Lucy needs to solve the riddle of words to best describe how she feels… For her best friend.
Together, they must overcome what’s keeping them apart before it’s too late, if they are going to realise that the word is love.
Another new author for me and another story that I adored! The cover itself is such a bright and cheerful one I couldn’t help smiling when I saw it. I was eager to start reading this romance and see just how much I fell in love with the characters and the story itself.
Lucy is someone who I wanted the best for. It only took a few pages for me to be wrapped up in this story. Lucy and Max work together in her carriage business. They have been friends forever and Max is almost as close as a brother to Lucy. Then Spencer arrives on the scene. Will Lucy get her happy ending with Spencer…or is her happy ending closer to her than she thinks?
What’s not to love? Horses, romance, family and friendship. I was in love straight away, characters you can root for, and some you definitely don’t! Florence Keeling has developed her characters so well. As I said Lucy was so easy to cheer on and believe me, at some moments I wanted to open her eyes for her. I really wanted her to see what was right there, in front of her. Spencer, well, I will say no more than, money isn’t everything!
I spent the most marvelous day with everyone in Weddington. The Word Is Love is a perfect escapist read that isn’t without it’s twists. Not only do we have such intriguing characters, a beautiful setting but we have twists too. Together they made me keep turning the pages to find out what would happen next with Lucy and her love life.
I would easily read the other book set in Weddington that I have just found. I can’t wait to return to Weddington. I do hope Florence Keeling writes more of these books. A romance novel that I highly recommend.
