Another book published by Boldwood Books. I seem to love every author that’s been signed to Boldwood, Evie Hunter is definitely one whose writing I know will entertain me for the time it takes me to read it. The Scam is her latest release and one I was raring to read.
The story is told from multiple perspectives, Sky, Ryan and Karim. Sky is with her boyfriend Karim in Saint Tropez until he gets an emergency call and she is sent home to the U.K. left thinking she must have done something wrong. Ryan has been tracking Karim for a long time and is determined to bring him down. He wonders how Sky has fallen for Karim’s lies. Well, all I will say is Sky has more about her than meets the eye!
A thriller that has a bit of everything to bring the thrills, spills and plenty of action too. With characters that make you feel like you know them and vividly detailed settings I was hooked yet again. In the middle of all the action, Evie Hunter has even interwoven romance. If there was ever a book that has the possibility to attract readers of all different genres, The Scam is that book.
With plenty of twists and turns that kept me on my toes, believable characters and such a great ending this is yet another belter from Evie Hunter.
