Portia MacIntosh is an author whose work I have come to adore. She writes the most hilarious and lighthearted romantic comedies. I haven’t read every book Portia MacIntosh has written as yet but I hope to catch up one day.
Just Date And See has the most gorgeous cover I have seen in a while and I just knew the story inside would be just as good. I was right, and read this in one sitting.
A romantic comedy set during Christmas time. Billie is looking forward to a quiet totally man free Christmas, but with the arrival of her family it looks like it won’t be as she planned. The chaos of family and guests she didn’t ask for leads her to taking her dating apps suggestion of a week of single nights up. Will this year be the year she discovers love? Well I suppose she will just have to date and see.
Another romantic comedy from this author that’s completely unputdownable. I just had to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next. As always Portia MacIntosh has made her characters wonderfully, they feel real and down to earth. I felt like Billie could have been my friend by the time I had got a few chapters in.
The way the author writes brings so much fun to the story and I was giggling away as I read. The twists and turns along the way added even more! A great festive rom com to settle down with.
