Today I’m thrilled to be taking part in the blog tour for The Feud by Gemma Rogers. Many thanks to Rachel’s Random Resources and Boldwood Books for my copy of the book.

From the stranger in the car, to the madman at her door…

The day my path crossed with Simon Fox I thought I’d already lost everything but then he ran me off the road with his flash car and belittling jibes.
The men in my life had undermined me for too long.
Enough was enough.
Fuelled by alcohol and the desire to get even, I decided a spot of petty vandalism would make me feel a whole lot better.
Wrong. Very wrong…
I hadn’t realised that Simon Fox was not a man to be messed with.
He showed me just how much I still had left to lose.
Soon I was battling for my home, family and life.

Gemma Rogers is an author who is amongst my favourites and I love it when I see a book tour with her name on. I always jump at the chance to take part. Every book I have read has ticked every box for me. I wondered if The Feud would do the same, well, it definitely did.

This is a story of revenge and how far one will go to exact their revenge. Kay is having the worst day of her life. If anything could go wrong it has… and then Simon Fox cuts her up, she totally snaps. Taking her revenge on him sets off a chain of events that she would bever have imagined.

Gemma Rogers always writes a realistic story that could easily happen in life. One slip and everything spirals out of your control. In The Feud I couldn’t help but back Kay all the way. A gritty, edge of my seat story, I was so invested I in this book and Kay.

I totally related to Kay, she is just attempting to do what she thinks is the right thing for her family. The Feud is a great example of how two wrongs will never, ever make a right. Gemma Rogers has shown how easily things can spin out of control from one second to the next. A pulse pounding read that I found so addictive.

I couldn’t get enough of this story. The way it is written makes you need to read ‘one more chapter’. Needless to say, I read more than one more! If you are looking for an easy read that’s gripping and addictive too look no further!
